A syndrome comprising pain, loss of sensation, and muscle weakness in the shoulder and arm, accompanied by Horner's syndrome, resulting from invasion of or impingement upon the brachial plexus and cervical sympathetic nerves by a tumour or other mass in the apex of the lung.
